Eid Mubarak!
The crescent of Shwaal has been sighted at various places in North America. Based on these sighting reports, inshallah tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009) will b
e the Eid. Eid Mubarak! The Eid prayers will take place in the masjid (at 417 Stasney St, College Station) inshallah. Takbeerat will start at 8:15 AM and the prayer will start at 8:45 AM.
Masjid’s parking lot will be closed to accommodate more people for the prayer. You can use the City’s Parking Garage on College Main Ave. Please bring a prayer rug with you in case you have to pray in the parking lot due to space limitations.

Marriage During Study - No longer an option.

I would like to draw your kind attention to Clause 8 (d) of the PETRONAS Convertible Loan Agreement which says “ ……jikalau belum lagi berkahwin pada tarikh Perjanjian ini, tidak boleh berkahwin kecuali terlebih dahulu mendapat kebenaran PETRONAS……..”.
In line with the recent decision from Management, please be informed that, effective immediately, PETRONAS will not permit any of its students to marry during their studies. Failure to comply shall tantamount to Breach Of Contract (BOC) and lead to termination of Agreement and sponsorship.
Your goal and purpose of being sponsored is to obtain a degree besides to acquire the knowledge, the skills and also to equip yourselves with the working world. Study hard and give your full commitment to produce good academic performance and also high quality of personality.
Remember to adhere to the obligations of the sponsorship contract and uphold moral values. Wish you all the best in your studies.
